About
About us
We make the internet a little slower, on purpose.
World of Puzzle started with a simple idea: in a world of infinite scroll, a good puzzle is one of the few things that asks for your full attention — and gives something back for it.
Our story
[Eve A. Lowe] started World of Puzzle in [2022] out of [a spare room / a small studio in NY], frustrated that most puzzles on the market were either forgettable stock photography or prohibitively expensive art prints cut into pieces.
We set out to do both well: commission original art from working illustrators, cut it properly so the pieces actually interlock the way you want them to, and price it so a good puzzle isn't a special-occasion purchase.
Today we work with [2] artists across [9] countries, and every puzzle we sell is hand-checked before it ships.
What we care about
A few principles that shape how we choose art, cut puzzles, and run the shop.
Original art, fairly paid
Every image is commissioned or licensed directly from the artist, with a real royalty on every box sold — not a one-time buyout.
Cut for the picture, not the machine
Piece density and cut style are chosen per image, so busy paintings and quiet landscapes each get a difficulty that fits them.
Built to be finished twice
Recycled board, soy-based inks, and a box sturdy enough to survive being solved more than once — and passed on afterward.
How we got here
The first hundred boxes
[e.g. "Hand-packed the first run of 100 puzzles from a spare bedroom and sold out in a weekend."]
First artist collaborations
[e.g. "Signed our first three independent illustrators and moved to a proper studio."]
Opened corporate gifting
[e.g. "Started producing custom-branded puzzles for companies, now a core part of the business."]
[The world Of Puzzle]
[e.g. "Shipping to X countries, working with X artists, still hand-checking every sheet."]
The people behind it
A small team that does its own quality checks and answers its own support emails.
